2月2日（木曜日）に鳥取市内、2月3日（金曜日）に米子市内、2月7日（火曜日）に南部町内において3件3人の交通死亡事故が発生しました。
そこで、2月8日（水曜日）から2月17日（金曜日）までの10日間、鳥取県全域に「交通死亡事故多発警報」が発令されました。
例年、夕暮れ時や夜間に交通事故が多発しています。

交通事故を防止するため、次のことを守りましょう
・夜間外出する時は、必ず反射材を着用し、明るい色の服装で出かけましょう。
・自動車・自転車は、夕暮れ時には早めにライトを点灯しましょう。
・夜間に車で走行する時は、前照灯をこまめに切り替えて、ハイビームを有効に活用しましょう。
・交通ルールを守り、ドライバーの方はスピードは控えめに、余裕をもって運転しましょう。
